The heart and soul of The Roser!
A proud Bath local, Dave has been part of the Banwell House Pub Company for many years and previously ran The New Inn on Monmouth Place. With decades of experience managing pubs across the city, Dave brings a deep love of hospitality—and Bath itself—to everything he does.
Larkhall is close to his heart too. A former student of St Mark’s School (though we won’t say quite how long ago…), Dave knows the neighbourhood well and is passionate about making The Rose and Crown a true hub of the community.
Whether you’re joining us for our popular pub quiz, enjoying live music, or catching the game, the team are here to make you feel right at home.
We’re here to serve and support, but it’s a two way street… 6 pubs close every week in the UK and we will not let this be one of them! A pint after work, a refreshment after a dog walk or a meal with friends, support local, pop by and say Hi.
