Last Wednesday’s Taste of Palestine fundraising evening was incredible! Together, we raised an amazing £300 for MAP Medical Aid for Palestinians Charity — with £134 raised through the food and £166 from the raffle.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and showed their support. Your generosity and community spirit made the evening so special.

The raffle has now been drawn, and a massive congratulations goes to Arthur, holder of raffle ticket number 50 — you’ve won yourself a fantastic bundle of goodies, ready to collect from the pub!

Prize bundle includes:

• 2 x one-hour dog walks

• 1 x London walking tour with Tracey

  (More info; The City of London is where it all began. This walk takes in Roman, medieval, and pre and post Great Fire London.

  We will discover the City's magnificent Guildhall, a Roman amphitheatre, remains of the City's defensive walls, splendid livery halls, medieval churches, sites of rebellion and execution, and more!

  We will set off from Guildhall yard (nearest tubes, St Paul's and Moorgate) and finish in one of the City's best pubs, near Barbican and Farringdon stations. It's a level walk with no access restrictions. Date and timings tbc. The walk is lead by Professor Tracey Hill, an expert on the history of the City of London.)
